Concert by Orchestra Wellington

Yesterday the children enjoyed a free concert from Orchestra Wellington. They learnt about the science of sound and had lots of fun learning the Mexican Wave and dancing to pop music.

Last practices before the big day!

Only 4 more days until our production and here we are putting everything together.

Today was our last practice in our school hall and on Monday we go to St. Pat’s School for our final dress rehearsal.

Drama fun

For the first four weeks of this term the children have been very fortunate to be working with a teacher from Marrzipan Drama Company.  They have had so much fun being involved in all the fun and exciting activities involving acting, miming, improvisation, body language sequences and voice training.  The children were always encouraged to “think outside the box” and to work cooperatively as a group. Ask them how we played the Puppeteer Game!
